Toronto is getting a billboard with tropical fruit you can pick and put in a drink of Corona

Fruit picking in the tropics sounds like something only reserved for all- inclusive vacations to foreign destinations.

Although, if you're planning on sticking around Toronto this summer, you'll be happy to know that a tropical-themed billboard is coming to the city.

Toronto artist Kae St. Kitts is designing a billboard with real, pickable fruit for the launch of Corona Canada's new ready-to-drink beverage, Corona Tropical.

Corona Tropical is the brand's first Sparking Water & Alcohol beverage made with sparkling water, alcohol, natural fruit flavour, and real fruit juice.

Made with real fruit juice, Corona Tropical contains three grams of sugar and 100 calories per 355 ml serving.

For the OG Corona drinkers, you can still participate in the beer's classic lime ritual with this new ready-to-drink beverage.

Corona Tropical is a highly refreshing new way to enjoy the spirit of Corona, made for those who embrace the Corona lifestyle, but are looking for an alternative to beer, with a low alcohol content at 4.2 per cent ABV.

Keeping in line with the fruity theme, Corona Tropical's immersive billboard activation in Toronto is where those of legal drinking age can pick their own fruit and get a Corona Tropical sample to enjoy at home, bringing the spirit of the tropics right to the heart of the city, while supplies last.

You'll be able to choose from two tropical flavours in Ontario: Lime & Cactus, and Raspberry & Lemon.

The tropical billboard activation makes its way into Toronto on June 9th until June 14th outside of Frank & Oak on Queen St. West.
