Talking is forbidden at upcoming Toronto concert
Toronto's Wavelength wants you to keep quiet at its next concert. Yes, the local organization says "talking is forbidden" at its March 25 show, which it's appropriately calling "Don't Speak."
There's no doubt that this policy will enhance the musical experience as Seattle's BenoĂŽt Pioulard performs along with Toronto duo North Atlantic Drift and local sound and video artist David Jones. DJ Languid Lilt and General Chaos Visuals will also add to the ethereal atmosphere during the event.
Wavelength laid out rules for its Good Friday show at Array Space in a news release.
"Herein, speaking is outlawed," it says. "Upon entering the building, lips must remain sealed. Ambience of sight and sound will provide the viscous background. Writing materials will be provided to all attending, for ease of communication. Come, sift silently with us."
