WEDNESDAY MARCH 23 / JEFF TWEEDY / QUEEN ELIZABETH THEATRE / 190 PRINCES BLVD / $41.50 / ALL AGES
After announcing a spring tour with his band Wilco and helping produce gospel-soul singer Mavis Staples' Grammy-winning album You Are Not Alone, Jeff Tweedy comes to Toronto to perform his solo work. The Tuesday night show is sold out, but a second show has been added for Wednesday night at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre for followers of the prolific front-man. Toronto dream-folk duo Snowblink opens for the American aquarium drinker.

THURSDAY MARCH 24 / NELLY / KOOL HAUS / 132 QUEENS QUAY E / $41 / ALL AGES
St. Louis rapper Nelly visits Kool Haus after releasing his sixth LP 5.0 and EP 6 Pack. Collaborating with Chris Brown, T.I., Akon and Kelly Rowland for 5.0, the former St. Lunatics rapper brings along chart toppers "Just a Dream" and "Move that Body". DJ Lissa Monet and Cali Swag District join the line-up.

FRIDAY MARCH 25 / MOUNT KIMBIE / WRONGBAR / 1279 QUEEN ST W / $12.50 / 19+
London electronic and dub-step duo Dominic Maker and Kai Campos - also known as Mount Kimbie - return to Toronto after impressing Drake Underground fans last September. Check out Wrongbar Friday night where the duo will perform songs from their debut Crooks & Lovers - a collage of sounds consisting of vocal samples, cavernous bass and electronic and organic ambiance. Fellow Londoner Jamie Woon warms the stage.

SATURDAY MARCH 26 / BASIA BULAT / THE GREAT HALL / 1087 QUEEN ST W / $17.50 / 19+
Saturday night is a goldmine for those wanting to see Canadian musicians: Toronto's Bedouin Soundclash, The Beauties and Elliott Brood play at the Phoenix, Lee's Palace and Horseshoe Tavern respectively, while New Brunswick's Julie Doiron performs at the Garrison. Part of Juno Fest, Juno 2011 "Best New Artist Nominee" Basia Bulat will play her heart-warming folk songs from 2010 Polaris-nominated album Heart of my Own for a smaller, intimate venue at The Great Hall. Locals Kat Burns (Forest City Lovers) and New Country Rehab are also on the set list.

MONDAY MARCH 28 / FIRST RATE PEOPLE / SUPERMARKET / 268 AUGUSTA AVE / $5 / 19+
Catch an indie-pop showcase at Supermarket on Monday night featuring opening performances from Prince Caspian and the lively Fitness Club Fiasco. First Rate People, who we featured on The Neighbourhood Mixtape, caps off the night.
