What's Your Story? Imagination

What's Your Story? features the different characters that roam the streets of Toronto. Every Monday and Thursday, a new person shares their story, likes and dislikes about the city, a little secret and more.

Name: S. Davis

Age: 22

What neighbourhood are you from? Jane and Finch

What do you 'do'? I'm a recording artist.

How long have you been in Toronto? Born and raised in Toronto. Lived here my entire life.

What's your story?

I started singing at the age of four and have always been around music. My mom is a stage actress and my dad is a road manager. I get the voice from my mother who sings, as well. Singing has always been my passion and I always sang as a child. My mother's friends would comment on it. R. Kelly, Usher and The Dream inspire me the most.

With anything you do in life, it all depends on your imagination. Now, I'm here performing at the Caribana Kick-Off Ceremony (for the Toronto Police Service).

Favorite thing(s) about Toronto:

Honestly, the people - there are so many talented people. And the environment - it's cool and fresh. The people and the environment.

Least favorite thing(s) about Toronto:

Not enough summer.

You have 24 hours to spend with someone who's never been to Toronto before - what do you do?

I'd take them to Niagara Falls. There's a lot to do in Niagara Falls. If I was performing that day, I would take them through my schedule and give them a tour of the studio. I would also introduce them to my good friend, Samantha.

One thing that your friends/family don't know about you:

That's a stumper.
