Swing Rosie Get Church Street Swingin'

Performing Sunday evening at Toronto Pride, Swing Rosie drew in huge crowd and practically stopped all pedestrian traffic a block or so north of Wellesley. Everyone around (including myself -- lucky enough to have a zoom lens) was stopping along the street to watch and to dance to the sounds of their jazzy harmonies.

(Imagine the triplets-of-Belleville incarnate.)

Even the ladies themselves admitted that they didn't expect to draw such a crowd, as they'd only brought around 25 or so CD's to sell.

If you missed the show, catch them this coming Thursday in a Downtown Jazz Festival sponsored event at The Dominion on Queen.
