The Friendless Youngsters Hit The El Mo

The quirky DIY band The Friendless Youngsters help make music lovers merry with a gig this Thursday, December 15th, at the El Mocambo. If I had to describe their sound, I'd have to say Barenaked Ladies circa the Yellow tape with a bit less of a compulsion for the listener to sing along to every song ... although the songs are pretty darned catchy.

If you feel like getting your holiday groove on, and doing a little festive booty shaking, add this show to your wish list. Rumour has it that it's very hard to sit down at one of the Youngsters' shows due to the excessive need to dance!

Also on the bill is The Jack Kerouac Knapsack Band.

The Friendless Youngsters are on stage at 10:30 p.m. and cover is $5.
