Carly Rae Jepsen at Pride Toronto

Canadian pop queen Carly Rae Jepsen is performing at this year's Pride celebrations on the Bud Light Float during the parade on June 23.

Bud Light believes music and beer has the power to connect us all through shared experiences, which is why for Pride this year, they wanted to do something unique that would celebrate inclusivity through music – this year, the brand has provided a Toronto-based emerging LGBTQ+ artist with the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and receive mentorship from a successful artist. They’ve even had a chance to enter the studio with the artist, and gain the experience and understanding of what it’s like to write and record a song.

The brand selected Carly Rae Jepsen to be that mentor, and Jordan Alexander as the emerging artist, Jordan wrote her own verse for Carly’s song “Feels Right” and together they recorded it in a studio in LA – “Feels Right” Pride Remix is now available on Spotify (over 1.5M streams already!) and Apple Music.

Together, they’ll be performing the song on the Bud Light Float during the Toronto Pride Parade on June 23rd – they’ll be stopping to perform twice along the Parade Route.
