corona rooftop patio rogers centre

The Rogers Centre in Toronto is getting a brand new rooftop patio oasis

A new rooftop patio is coming to the Rogers Centre, which is great because we love them here in Toronto.

The news that the Corona Rooftop Patio will be opening for the baseball season at the Rogers Centre is welcome news and feels like a sign that summer is truly just around the corner for all of us who have been struggling through weekends of snowstorms.

It will be located at 500 level in the right field and is just one of many major changes coming to the stadium due to big renovations happening.

In addition to frosty Coronas, the rooftop patio will also be serving ballpark classics (including a take on the classic Toronto peameal bacon sandwich) and frozen cocktails.

You'll also be able to take in expansive views of the field and the CN tower from the high vantage point.

Renderings show a spacious hangout area with lots of big screen TVs, hanging accents, wooden accents and greenery for a breezy vibe.

It's all part of the new Outfield District expansion at the ballpark, which also includes Schneiders Porch, The Catch Bar, The Stop, and Park Social.

You'll find poutine hot dogs at Schneiders Porch, while The Catch Bar will do smoked meat mac n' cheese with cocktails. The Stop will serve quick eats such as beef patties and batch cocktails, and Park Social will be serving food truck-style eats like bacon-pepper grilled cheese, brownie sundaes, and milkshakes.
