Nothing screams the Victoria Day long weekend like campfires, cottage getaways and, of course, bumper-to-bumper traffic piling up as people get as far away from the city as possible.

I think we can all agree that hitting the road on the long weekend means a lot of sitting and waiting impatiently in your car. But, Halo Top is trying to make the traffic a little less painful and a whole lot sweeter.

Halo Top will be giving away thousands of free pints of ice cream over the holiday weekend with a new "Halo Top Drive Thru" pop-up.

The pop-up with be located at 306 Front Street West.

The first 5,000 people to pass through the drive-thru will get a free pint of Halo Top.
