Mean Bao Toronto

Mean Bao expanding with its first east side location

Mean Bao just topped our list for the best bao in the city. It'll soon be even easier to get your hands on their delicious steamed buns and dumplngs because word broke today that they'll be opening a new location in Leslieville.

The bao-centric eatery will replace Back of House on Carlaw just north of Queen. Earlier this year you might remember that Leslieville locals tried to save this restaurant with an Indiegogo campaign but alas the restaurant shuttered earlier this summer.

No word yet on an opening date.

Are you excited for the new location of Mean Bao? Let us know in the comments.
