OPENINGS AND CLOSINGS

  • The launch of the Fidel Gastro Food Truck means extremo sandwiches are now available street side on a regular basis. Check the twitter feed for locations.
  • Toyko Sushi is now open and serving rolls and other sushi classics at 751 The Queensway.
  • Signs for Voodoo Child have gone up at 388 College Street. Though details are scarce, the website bills it as a boutique cafe--whatever that means.
  • The Tilted Kilt Pub is set to open in the coming months at 38 The Esplanade. The new 'breastaurant' is the first Toronto location for this Scottish-themed American chain.
  • The Double Deuce Saloon (1168 Queen Street West) closed last month.
