The 2011 photos of the year: Final Round

Over the last few weeks, our photo of the week winners from 2011 have competed against each other for inclusion in the final round of voting, which will ultimately determine the photo of the year. The top three photos from each previous round are collected below for readers to vote on. As is the case with our weekly contests, this contest is sponsored by Posterjack. Here are the prizes that the winners will be eligible for:

  • 1st place will receive a voucher code for a 24"x36" Metal Print ($200 Value)
  • 2nd place will receive a voucher code for a 24"x36" Canvas Print ($150 Value)
  • 3rd plave will receive a voucher code for a 24"x36" Frameless Mount ($100 value)

Following the publication of this post, voting will be open until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday night (January 15th, 2012).

For those photographers whose images are featured below, please feel free to give us a little information about your shot — i.e. where and when it was taken — in the comments section. Who knows? Maybe your description will sway voters in your favour! And for voters, this round will determine the photo of the year, so vote well!
