Altered Sign TTC Toronto

Artfully altered signage around Toronto

A couple days ago I was searching through the theGentries Flickr pool for a photo of a TTC subway entrance. While that was surprisingly more difficult to locate than one might think, in the process of scrolling through page after page, I realized just how many pics of altered TTC and street signs that have been submitted to the group. There's got to be over 100, and though they vary in quality (read level of humourousness) most are enough to inspire a temporary smile.

Much of what's below was captured by Scott Snider (unless otherwise marked), but pool member Half my Dad's age also has some good stuff. And in case you like this sort of stuff as much as I do, I've rounded out the post with a gallery of photos tagged with "Toronto" from the Altered Signs Flickr group. Happy Wednesday diversion!
