Parkdale Rig Boneyard: The Final 10-4

I discovered a rig-scrapping yard in Parkdale the other day by chance, when I decided to follow a black cat. For some reason, black cats have a bad reputation in superstitious folklore, but my auspicious encounter with this dark feline led me to something I loved - a post-apocalyptic playground...

After showing a few of these snaps to a friend of mine (a truck-enthusiast), he perfectly articulated the odd feeling that I had throughout my entire visit: that even though these trucks, which had traveled so much for so many years, have ended up in this mechanical boneyard, their journey's not over yet. Instead, they'll move on from this garden of decay into automotive afterlives. Reincarnated through recycling, these old parts will make new wholes.
