The final day of fun at the CNE marked the unofficial end of summer vacation. What amazing weather we had all weekend long!

The Ontario Liberals have timed the announcement really well and are dangling a juicy carrot in our faces. If re-elected, they promise to add another statutory holiday - a long weekend in February to mark 'Family Day'.

Long weekends often spell heavy traffic and traffic accident chaos. This Labour Day weekend was horrific, with over a dozen fatalities on Ontario roads.

Roads (and houses) in Etobicoke were flooded on Monday when a watermain broke near Islington and the Queensway. Once again we're reminded that our water infrastructure is ageing and in desperate need of upgrading (and we have no money).

Tenants at the southeast corner of Yonge and Bloor got their lease terminations recently. More than 20 small businesses will be forced out by December, to make way for the mega-tower that's going to be built.
