After the intricate theft of a massive bronze statue of Ukrainian poet Taras Schevchenko from an Oakville park, the head of the statue turned up at a smelter and an arrest was made. Busted.

Filed under strange update: Three months ago, a cobra went missing in the city and to this day it has still not been found and captured. Tenants have been forced to move and plenty of money has been spent by the city in attempts to safely resolve the issue.
