Morning Brew: January 12th, 2007

Your "never too young" morning news roundup for Friday January 12th, 2007:

Orde St. Public school children found a gun in their playground, and had the foresight to tell the teachers before anyone even touched it. Police believe the gun was stashed by a suspect that was and still is on the loose.

A group of 14 and 15-year old kids face a whack of charges after police busted their "Newborn Assassins" gang. They'd been terrorizing, beating, and robbing members of the community.

A 19-year old was arrested after police were tipped off about live bombs, explosives, and weapons that were being made and hidden in an isolated rural Southwestern Ontario home. We're not yet sure if this was a for-fun hobby or maliciousness was the intent.

Four men in their 20's were arrested after police seized crack cocaine and guns from homes and business in Toronto and Brampton.

A 25-year old Oakville man who appeared to some to be a shining example of a successful entrepreneur, CEO and President of an IT company allegedly ended up scamming $8million and running.
