Toronto Fringe Festival announces new home for 2017

Since Honest Ed's is closing this December (RIP), the Toronto Fringe Festival needed to find a new hub for 2017. Today it announced it'll be making its new home at the Scadding Court Community Centre (SCCC) at Dundas and Bathurst.

According to a Fringe press release, the 12 day festival will transform the westerly community centre in an "urban playground." The SCCC parking lot will become a beer garden and the Alexander Park outdoor hockey rink will host an arts market.

Attendees will also have easy access to Market 707 - the food containers lining Dundas West - so dining options will be plentiful.
