Rob Ford Street Art

Rob Ford, art terrorist?

The Toronto graffiti wars wage on. After last week's clever and well-received stencil in graffiti alley — which might keep it safe from removal fore the foreseeable future — something a bit more straightforward has been spotted in the Annex. Spotted at the corner of Lowther and St. George, the message the stencil bears doesn't require much explaining. So, I guess the question becomes whether or not Rob Ford really is an art terrorist. If you buy into the mayor's own rhetoric, you sure might think so. But, there's also been evidence to the contrary.

One thing's for sure, though: the kickback from street artists — or writers or vandals, or whatever you want to call them — is gaining momentum. So if you have snaps of Rob Ford graffiti, send 'em our way.

And to see the variety of graffiti that's been dedicated to our mayor, check out the Rob Ford Graffiti Gallery.
