Phil Villeneuve takes his two-step to the TTC

Phil Villeneuve, Toronto's impromptu dance-king, is at it again — this time on the TTC. And as much as I liked his former efforts at the Eaton Centre, the grocery store and the ROM (to name a few), the subway is really the perfect platform for his act. Haven't we all witnessed someone get a little too "engaging" on our daily commute at some point (remember, they can't hear the music)? The passengers are clearly both bemused and a tad nervous, which is the best part.

Villeneuve's former dance numbers have been mostly well received (the No Frills video has over 50,000 hits), and even garnered him some attention from the artists he moves to. Although these dances might get played out at some point, the interval between his routines always ensures that they come as a pleasant surprise for me, especially as they serve as the perfect YouTube lunch break in the middle of a hectic day.

For more on Villeneuve, here's an an interview from Torontoist in which he explains what he's up to.

Check it out the video below (music by Kylie Minogue).
